One of the most elastic phylum yet discovered. The body material has a strong, rubber-like consistency which is often supported by an array of arching ribbon structures. Their smooth surface and open interiors provide great wind resistance. Their vivid stripes will fade with age, yet their structure is often extremely slow to decompose and remains long after a successful reproduction cycle.
